ABOUT THIS HUNT:
As luck and logistics would have it I got into camp early just as the camp was changing over so I decided to relax for the first day. We stayed in wall tents for a classic "wilderness hunt".

The second day we saw nothing from various locations on the ground but on the third day I decided to hunt from a tree stand. I killed a nice Black Bear from 30 yards with my Excalibur Exocet 200. I'm laughing as I write this because truth be told I spent more time looking for the arrow than the bear who went less than 30 yards.

I killed my first Wood Bison with my Browning A-bolt 300 WSM and on the second day of this Wood Bison hunt I killed another with my Excalibur Exocet 200 crossbow from 25-30 yards. Nice clean shot!
